| JYF criticizes JU VC for crushing voice of student community | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 3: Jammu Youth Forum (JYF) today criticized Jammu University Vice Chancellor Prof R D Sharma for crushing the voice of student community.
Forum President Deepak Kumar said that to hide the malfunctioning of Jammu University administration and to hide some of its loop holes, Prof R D Sharma is leaving no stone unturned to crush the voice of student community.
Deepak further said that Vice Chancellor who had hurted the sentiments of all those students who see Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev as their idols and were in the process of organising Blood Donation Camp on Trimurti Balidan Diwas but was intentionally not been allowed to do so.
The way VC JU compares Shaheed Bhagat Singh with Afzal Guru shows his failure in creating the nationalistic atmosphere in the university. "The Vice Chancellor is behaving like a dictator and trying to impose his decision on the poor students and scholars and also playing with their career which is highly condemnable and unjust," he said.
Deepak further alleged that Vice Chancellor was promoting tainted and incompetent officials; and harassing upright persons who refuse to bow before his pressure tactics.
There have been several instances during the past 16 months, ever since VC took over reins of Jammu University, wherein it has been clearly visible that tainted persons were not only reinstated on their positions but also offered prized postings.
He added that JYF support ABVP to make people aware of the facts to expose the VC JU. He also said that they will approach the CM in this regard for necessary action to save the JU.
