SAMBA, Apr 3: An impressive Shoba Yatra Guru Nabha Dass ji Maharaj was taken out Samba in connection with the birth anniversary of Guru Nabha Dass with great religious fervour and gaiety .
The Shoba Yatra was taken out which was flagged off by MLA Samba. A large number of devotees participated in the Shoba Yatra which started from Guru Nabha Dass temple Bhudhwani Samba.
A large number of tractor trolleys and other vehicles which were the part of shoba yatra. The people en-route greeted the Shoba Yatra by showering flowers and served cold drinks and eatables items to participated in the shoba yatra.
The Shobha Yatra passed through National Highway Samba, Hari Singh Chowk, Link Road, bus stand and cluminated at Nabha dass temple where a big congregation was held.
He was born on April,8 1537 at village Bhadrachalam on the bank of the sacred Godavari river in district Khammam of state Andra Pardesh. His Mother was Janaki Devi ji and Father Ramdass ji Now known as Ramdassu. They belonged to the Mahasha,Doom, Dumna community now known as Nabhadassia. Their professional work was to make baskets of Cane and they were great artists of all musical instruments.
Among others who were present in the Shoba Yatra included Ex MLA Samba Som Nath,Vinod Kumar (President youth congress), Kali dass, Mohan Lal, Advocate Lovely Kumar and others. |
