KPC condemns anti-national incidents at NIT Srinagar, Dental College Jammu | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 3 : Strongly condemning anti-national incidents which took place at NIT, Srinagar and at Indira Gandhi Dental College, Jammu on the intervening night of April 1 and 2, wherein anti-national slogans were raised and Indian flag was burnt respectively, the Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has ridiculed the state administration and police authorities at the helm of affairs in the state for their inability to curb the anti-national elements. KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri while criticizing the civil as well as police administration said that they miserably failed to protect lives of nearly 2000 non-local students, studying in National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar. The helpless students were harassed, humiliated and threatened, when a large number of outsiders thronged the NIT campus to teach non-local students a lesson for shouting pro-India slogans to counter the anti-Indian and pro-Pak slogans raised by the Muslim students in the campus of NIT, soon after Indian team lost the semi--final match in T-20 World Cup. KPC Chief applauded appreciated these nationalist students, who dared to unfurl national flag at NIT Srinagar and shouted pro-India slogans to defeat and counter the anti-India slogans raised by local Muslim students of NIT and outside of NIT. Kundan Kashmiri demanded strong and fast action without any delay under law against these anti-national students, so that such ugly and nasty incident do not take place again anywhere in the country. |
