Congress accuses PDP-BJP Govt of adopting vindictive attitude

Jammu, Apr 16: Senior Congress leaders have accused PDP-BJP Govt. of adopting vindictive attitude towards the opposition, especially Congress party in the State.
In a joint statement Senior Congress leaders have lashed out at PDP-BJP Govt. for targeting leaders of Congress party and adopting politically discriminatory and vindictive attitude out of political Vendetta in the matter of security cover and accommodation with a view to discriminate the Congress leadership to play the role of effective and vibrant opposition in the State, as the Congress party and its cadres are highlighting the failures of the Govt. to mitigate the problems of people and come up to their expectations.
They said that party leaders including the State President have been denied from security cover besides adopting discriminatory attitude in the matter of accommodation, which is against the democratic traditions, especially in this sensitive state. They said that the Govt. headed by the party which always claimed to treat politics as battle of ideas is adopting such tactics against the opposition. Congress party which always believed and fought against the communal, divisive and secessionist forces in the State. They said that those are in the helm of affairs availed adequate security and other facilities for playing their role while in opposition, are denying reasonable facilities in those matters to the Congress party.

CLP Leader Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Vice Presidents Mula Ram, Raman Bhalla, GM Saroori (MLA) , Haji Abdul Rashid Dar(MLA), GN Monga (MLC), Chief Spokesman Ravinder Sharma, Co-Treasurer Rajnish Sharma, General Secretaries Th. Balwan Singh, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Yogesh Sawhney, Shabir Ahmed Khan, Manjit Singh, Shah Mohd Choudhary, Manmohan Singh, Vikram Malhotra, Namrata Sharma, Faqir Nath, SS Channi and Hilal Shah.
