| Two found hanging mysteriously | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 16: Two persons reportedly were found hanging in separate incidents at different places of Reasi district.
Police sources said that a youth was found hanging from a branch of a tree at Nursery near Bus Stand Katra this morning. "After getting the information police reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital, police sources said. They said that they recovered nothing from his possession which could establish his identity. Police further said that from the appearance the deceased appeared to be non-local. Yet in similar incident one Mohammad Sharief s/o Lal Din of Sildhar, Mahore was found hanging from branch of a tree near his house on Friday late night.
Police said that during preliminary investigations they have questioned the family members of the deceased but they claimed to have no knowledge about why the youth took such an extreme step.
Police have registered both the cases at concerned police stations and started investigations.
Meanwhile Police have shifted both the bodies to the District Hospital for postmortem however one of the bodies has been handed over to family members for last rites after autopsy while other is still lying in the mortuary as his identity could not be ascertained yet. |
