| Girl among two allegedly commit suicide | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 25 :Two persons including a 17 year-old girl allegedly committed suicide today in separate incidents reported from winter capital of state. Police reports said that a girl identified the deceased as Preeti Devi (17) daughter of Tarsem Lal of Azad Nagar Upper Gaadi Garh today allegedly committed suicide under mysterious circumstances by hanging herself at her residence at Gaddi Garh area. Reports said that after noticing her hanging, the family members immediately rushed her to Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu where she was declared as brought dead. Police reports said that the body was shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for autopsy and other legal formalities. Meanwhile, in a similar incident a resident of Narwal Pain reportedly ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance mysteriously at his residence. The deceased has been identified as Darminder Singh son of Ram Avtar of Narwal Pain. Police said that he was immediately shifted to GMC&H Jammu where Darminder failed to respond the treatment. Police have registered both the cases at concerned police stations and started investigations to ascertain the exact reasons behind such an extreme steps.
