| Youth dies, two other injured in road mishap | | | Early Times Report
jammu, June 25: A youth was killed while two others sustained injuries when the motorcycle they were riding on hit with a pole near Jammu University Hotel Gate.
The deceased has been identified as Akash (18) s/o Bittu while identities of injured have been established as Shubam s/o Rajkumar and Abhishek Kumar s/o Raj Kumar all residents of Railway Colony.
Police sources said that accident took place when the trio was riding on a motorcycle bearing registration number JKO2AF-0308 which hit with a pole near University gate falling under the jurisdiction of Nehru Market Police Post.
After getting the information police immediately reached the spot and shifted the injured to Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu where during treatment Akash succumbed to his grievous injuries. Police said the body of the deceased was shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for legal formalities.
Meanwhile the concerned Police have registered a case and started further investigations. |
