| Dr Manohar condemns attack on the CRPF | | | Early Times Report.
Jammu, June 25: Dr Manohar lal Sharma Senior Congress Leader, Former Minister and General Secretary PCC condemned the cowardly attack on the CRPF party at Pampore in which 8 Jawans attained the supreme sacrifice and 17 others are battling for life by Laskar - e- toiba . He lamented the BJP Government in the centre as well as the BJP PDP coalition government in the state on its failure in curbing the militancy due to its soft stand on anti national elements. The Militancy which was nailed during the regime of UPA government is again on rise due to the wrong policies and soft stand of BJP government in center and in state where the BJP is partner in government. There is a steep rise in the Militant activities during the past and the BJP PDP government has no input as well as no control on Militant activities. He alleged that this is very unfortunate the BJP PDP government is non serious about the rising incidents of militancy as no serious step has been taken to enchance the intelligence network. A few days before the militant attack in Kud in which the militant Tanvir ahmed got killed due to the alert co passengers of the bus as well as the alert security forces, hence a major tragedy was averted but this was a matter of great concern that the serious slackness and failure of government on the front of intelligence due to which the slain militant was able to develop a base at subash Nagar Jammu which can be a launching pad for more militant attacks in Jammu. a |
