JKIM alleges security lapse helped miscreants to disturb peace | | | Early Times Report POONCH, Aug 20: Expressing concerns over the time and again emergence of miscreants who tried to create wedge within society, the Jammu and Kashmir Insaaf Movement (JKIM) today alleged that lapse in security measures gave them (miscreants) chances to disturb peace and tranquility in region. Addressing a joint press conference here today, JKIM leaders Javid Iqbal Reshi, Varun Datta, Vijay Kumar and Mohd Abas Malik. Ghajan Singh and Aryan said, "Poonch district is known as religious brotherhood district where Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian are living together and celebrates all religious festivals all together." They regretted as per report from Poonch first time in Poonch some hooligans tried to Take adventege of loop holes in security cover and hosted IS flags in Mendher, Blasted an explosive near temple, pelted stones on Chari (holy mace) Yatra and on vehicles of yatris, raised anti national slogans, and also misbehaved yatries. Holding responsible the security agencies for all this they said they (security agencies) failed to put a check on miscreants who disturbed peace in Poonch and alleged it is due to the negligence of some police officers. Meanwhile in its contrast DIG Rajouri Poonch Johny William claimed that the volatile Kashmir's conditions may have affected Poonch and Rajouri too. Senior police officer maintained that action under law of land shall be taken against all hooligans and vandals.
