BJP MP mends his way, party cadre yet to follow law | Violation of traffic norms during Tiranga rally | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 20: It seems that the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) MP has mend his ways with regard to obeying traffic rules as he was seen wearing a crash helmet during Tiranga rally in Nagrota on Friday. However, the sudden change came only after a news report published in 'Early Times' on August 18 which pointed out BJP MP from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha segment Jugal Kishore and his colleague MLC Vibodh Gupta's scant respect for set laws and norms. Though BJP MP is now trying to be a law abiding citizen by wearing mandatory crash helmet but several of his colleagues are still not bothered to adhere to the law of land and openly riding two wheelers without wearing crash helmets. Being former president of state unit of the party and a senior party leader Jugal Kishore should ensure that anybody who is part of the Tiranga rally must follow traffic rules as it is his responsibility to prevail upon his party men to show full respect for rule of law which ultimately provide safety to the participants from any mishap. |
