Jammu, Aug 27: Members of Kashmiri Pandit community again came out in open support for the agitating Kashmiri Migrant Employees of Kashmir for their adjustments in Jammu by organizing a candle march under the banner of All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) and demanded a comprehensive roadmap for the community and resolution of the genuine demands of the employees including their adjustment in Jammu region forthwith. Raising slogans in support of the agitating employees, the community members belonging to all sections alongwith Kashmiri migrant employees and their families took out a massive candle light procession outside the Press Club of Jammu here this evening. Speaking on the occasion, All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) castigated the state government for ignoring KP Hindu employees who are on a dharna for the past 46 days refusing to return to Kashmir Valley where their residential camps were attacked extensively and selectively. They alleged divisional administration in Kashmir of not only failing to protect them but also denying any attack to create wedge between the two communities and spread lies against KPs Coming down heavily on the attitude of the state and central government, the KP leaders said, "They (the political leaders) shed tears for the stone-pelters and leaves no opportunity to rehabilitate those who work against India but did not bother to invite the real stakeholders for meeting with union Home Minister who came twice during the past one month to talk to the people in Valley." Extending support to the PM Package employees, Pandit leaders extended their full support to the employees saying they should be shifted to Jammu adding no Hindu employee will return to Valley unless and until the government comes out with a comprehensive return plan for entire Pandit community. Highlighting other demands speakers demanded guarantee of their safety, security, dignity and honour adding the union government and the state government has not only failed to protect their interests but also ignored the community forgetting that Kashmiri Pandits are the real stakeholders and without their participation no solution was practicable for Kashmiri issue. Referring to grave situation in valley, families of employees posted in valley said, "As situation in Kashmir valley is not in the hands of the government or even separatists and in such a civil war kind of a situation they cannot send their children to Valley. They added that minority is selectively being targeted for harassment, abuse and even direct and indirect threats after Burhan killing and sought the shifting of all KP employees to Jammu till complete normalcy returns to Valley and government guarantees their safety and security.
