Govt schemes elaborated to people | | | Early Times Report
Vijaypur,Aug 27: An awareness literacy camp was organized by JK Bank Gurha Slathia at village Moutlian Kalan today. The idea was to disseminate awareness among the people of financial concept and to make people aware of various schemes launched by government. The camp was organized and supported under FIF. managed by NABARD. More than 150 person participated in the camp apart from higher official from J & K bank zone office Jammu central Kathua and the official from insurance company. On this occasion various latest schemes were highlighted by the speakers like KCC education loan transport loan housing loan easy working capital mortgage loan mudra ( shishu kishor and tarun ) recently scheme launched by govt. Apart from this various social scheme launched by govt was also highlighted i. e PMSBY PM JJY PMJDY APY and Ladli Beti. The public was requested to make judicious use of bank loans for purpose it was availed.The concept of KYC and anti money laundering was also elaborated to the people and were guided to deposit surplus money in bank instead of keeping it at home as fixed deposit recurring deposit scheme and get monthly yield deposit. Branch head JK Bank Gurha Slathia Bir Singh Jamwal requested the people to avail benefit of bank and various schemes of govt as individual or through group self help group participants.He also educated the people to use PMJDY ATM card within 90 days even if account balance is zero to get insurance cover and advised them to collect the card on priority basis from branch. The village sarpanch Charan Dass, panch Sat Paul, panch Sham Lal supported very much for organizing camp and also locals appreciated the efforts being made by JK bank in uplifting living standard of rural and for educating them by giving briefing on various social security scheme for public and financial concept. |
