6000 appear in NET at 16 centres in Srinagar | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Around 6000 candidates from Kashmir province appeared in the UGC-NET examination conducted today. The officials in the office of the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, who were coordinating the conduct of the test, said 10300 candidates from Kashmir province had registered for appearing in the NET. He said the examination was smoothly conducted at 16 centres in Srinagar and adequate transport facilities were arranged by the respective district administrations for ferrying the candidates. NET (National Eligibility Test) is being conducted by UGC every year for determining the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professorship and Junior Research Fellowship in universities and colleges. |
