Baramulla, Aug 28: A search operation is underway in Kreeri area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district where at least four militants are believed to have given slip to the government forces. An official said that forces fired some shots towards a residential house in Banday Bala Chandoosa Kreeri where militants were hiding.a
He said that the militants, believed to be four to five in number, managed to give slip to the joint party of police and army, adding that the area has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway in maize fields. |
