GDC Doda organizes one day cleanliness drive 9/2/2016 10:45:28 PM Doda, Sept 2: NSS Unit of Government Degree College Doda on Friday organized a one day cleanliness drive in college premises. The cleanliness drive was held under the supervision of Principal GDC Doda Dr RK Raina and conducted by Programme Officer NSS GDC Doda Prof Vishally Sharma. During the drive, around 50 volunteers along with Professor Vishally Sharma, Programme officer NSS unit GDC Doda participated in the drive. The volunteer besides cleaning the College Complex also educated the other students of the college about ill effect of the polythene and plastic waste on environment. Earlier Principal Govt Degree College Doda Dr. R K Raina lauded the efforts of the volunteers in generating awareness among the different sections of the society. While concluding the drive, Professor Vishally Sharma Programme officer NSS Unit GDC Doda in her speech laid stress on adopting an austere lifestyle and sustainable living habits so that adequate resources could be spared for coming generations   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
