| NPSU protest over sinking Dogra heritage | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 2: National Panthers Student Union today held a massive protest demonstration against Dy CM Nirmal Singh for failing to protect the Dogra heritage and history. The activists of NPSU gathered at university main gate and held a strong protest demonstration against Dy CM. The activists of NPSU burned the effigy of Nirmal Singh. The protest led by Thakur Virender Singh state president NPSU while addressing the media persons lambasted the silence of Nirmal Singh over the issue of sinking of Dogra heritage sight (Mubarak Mandi). The Mubarak Mandi complex in Jammu located at the crown of this ancient town is not only a historical monument of archeological value to attract the curious tourists, but it denotes the very pride of Dogras and symbolizes the great culture of secular love lore, of folk songs and music of gallant warriors and artists and a very amicable, and artists and a very amicable, noble social order that grew under the umbrella of its rulers. |
