JAMMU, Sept 2: Citizen Advisory Forum (CAF) has welcomed the two-day visit of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh-headed All Party Delegation to J&K, hoping that its members would also take pain in addressing the issues of Jammu region. In a joint statement issued here today, CAF chairman I C Jandiyal said the all party delegation must also take a note of the Jammu's concerns and initiate the requisite steps to address them. "The aspirations of the people of Jammu be also taken into consideration while taking measures for the welfare of people of Kashmir and restoring normalcy in the valley that was hit by violent protests after the killing of terrorist Burhan Wani," he added. Jandiyal said the joint delegation needed to understand that Jammu businessmen too had suffered a lot due to the protests and curfew in Kashmir. "There is a need of compensating them too," he asserted. Other signatories to the statement included CAF vice-chairman Arvind Mahajan, general secretary Vijay Saraf, who is also secretary of Amar Singh Club, and executive members - Early Times executive editor Munish Gupta, Jugal Mahajan, Ratan Lal Gupta and C P Gupta.
