Early Times Report kathua, Sept 2: As per routine agriculture extension purpose, "An interaction with farmers" programme was organized by the Sub Division Agriculture Office, Billawar, Zone Phinter at Panchayat lower Dungara. The programme was headed by SDAO, Billawar, Swarkar Anand accompanied by AEO (Input) Ravinder Singh, AEO, Bushan Chandel, JAEO Mohan Lal Verma, VAEA Dharamveer Sharma (Sonu), VAEA Dr. Harsh Vardhan Sharma and VAEA Ravi Slaria. The programme was also attended by a large number of farmers including Sarpnach Mandhan Lal, Panches and most senior farmers of the area. A most senior farmer of age 95 years also put his presence to stand with the importance and need of the such programmes of the Agriculture Department. On the occasion, SDAO Swarkar Anand addressed the farmers and told them latest technical know-how in the field of farming to get a better yield. He also laid stress on the farmers to avail the facilities, schemes and technical guidance to promote their farming in the area. Senior AEO (Input) Ravinder Singh also discussed with farmers regarding the forthcoming rabi crop season. He also held a mature and result-oriented interaction with farmers in connection of present Kahrif crops. JAEO, Mohan Lal Verma exhorted that farmers should avail the Kisan Credit Card facility that is being provided by the state government to meet out emergency financial requirement for farming purpose. |
