Time to maintain operational preparedness, alertness: Lt Gen Singh 9/24/2016 11:09:50 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 24: Western Command Army Commander Lt Gen Surinder Singh today reiterated the need to maintain a high order of operational preparedness and alertness. Gen Surinder Singh, Western Army Commander during his visit to Rising Star Corps reviewed the operational preparedness of the Army in the Jammu-Pathankot region and emphasised on ensuring fool proof security measures. He also visited forward areas in Jammu, Samba and Pathankot where he interacted with field commanders and troops in the area and appreciated the efforts of Army units and formation.
