2 senior officers 'clash' over SI's posting 9/24/2016 11:29:07 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 24: As there occurred a clash of egos between two senior police officers in Jammu district over the issue of posting of a Sub-Inspector, a third senior officer intervened to sort out the matter. The SI wanted to be posted as incharge of a particular police post in the district, but a senior police officer posted him at another police post in the city. Issuing a separate order, another senior officer, however, posted him at the police post he wanted to head as its incharge. This led to a conflict between the two officers, police sources said. As no one was ready to withdraw his order, another senior officer intervened and decided that the SI's first transfer would remain in force while the other would be deemed to have been withdrawn. This way, the officer sorted out the matter, which remained a subject of discussion in the district police circles.
