Missing minors traced from UP, police leave to take custody | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 24: Two minors who went missing from Kot Bhalwal locality since September 22, reportedly were traced from Kanpur area of Uttar Pradesh and apolice team have left to take custody of the two children. Giving details SHO Gharota, Inspector Suchinder Pal said, "Two students of Class VII identified namely as Shivansh Sharma of Kot and Vikas Sudan of Aghore village went missing from a private school in Kot Bhalwal area on September 22." "Today an NGO spotted them while they were roaming mysteriously at Kanpur Railway Station, he said adding, "members of NGO intimated the family members of one of the missing children who accordingly informed the police." "After being informed by family members, the police contacted the NGO and a team under the supervision of he himself (SHO Gharota) alongwith Inspector Suchinder Pal, SDPO Domana Surinder under direct supervision of SSP Jammu Sunil Gupta left for Kanpur area to take custody of the missing children," he added.Police further said that scooty used by the minors has also been recovered from parking of Jammu Railway Station. |
