J&K bank sanctioned ATM in disputed building: Dev Raj Sharma | | | Early Times Report sunderbani, Sept 24: The people of Sunderbani has alleged that Jammu & Kashmir bank branch Sunderbani want to open automatic transaction machine (ATM) in the disputed building near Chandni wine Bar Sunderbani. This building is situated at khasra number 2813 on old GREFF road Sunderbani city, which is already disputed. In another scam, branch of Canara bank is also opened in four lines in village Loharakote opposite petrol pump Sunderbani. Local administration is also aware about dispute of building but no any action has been initiated by administration. According to reports land grabbers are increasing day by day in block Sunderbani as many kanals land have been encroached illegally such as forest land, custodian land, state land but administration is totally silence to control landgrabbers. Today social workers of Sunderbani gave a press conference about landgrabbers. In the press conference senior social worker of Sunderbani Dev Raj Sharma while addressing to media said some land grabbers Lok Nath Suden & his brother Arun Suden both sons of Isher Dass residence of village Banpuri and block Sunderbani has encroached some part of land from khasra number 2813 on old GREFF road in front of municipal committee building Sunderbani city and built illegally four shops in 1990. Sharma said these people have also encroached another land khasra number 46 in village Loharakote in front of petrol pump and few years ago and built a building and opened branch of Canara bank on the land which is under ownership of Surinder Kumar, residence of Tala Nagara. GREFF department gave a legal notice to owner of building. Dev Raj Sharma said now branch of J&K bank Sunderbani has been sanctioned automatic transaction machine (ATM) in the building of Chandni Wine Bar which is on old GREFF road. Sharma said officers of J&K bank are aware for this disputed building but they sanctioned ATM in this building giving many lakhs rupees loss to J&K government. Sharma said inquiry be continued for this building by the order of CM grievances cell complain numbers 48394, 60374, 53601 & 49733 He urged to CM Mehbooba Mufti and revenue minister to look into this scam and order for quick action against landgrabbers of Sunderbani. In the press conference social workers of Sunderbani Ramesh Kumar, Anoop Singh, Narinder Sharma, Varinder Singh & Naresh Kumar participated. |
