AMEAK protest enters 72nd day | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 24: Hundreds of protesting employees under the banner of All Migrant Employees Association Kashmir demanding their posting in camp offices at Jammu after they have left valley due to prevailing unrest and mob violence are on peaceful protest for last 72nd days here at the office of relief commissioner in support of their demands. "We will go ahead with the protest till the govt accepts our demands without any condition. We have lot of grievances with government since we have been ignored since our job package in valley. We do not want to live a depressed life," said Ajay Bhat, adding that they have been deprived from basic rights and treated like second class citizens of the country, which they could not tolerate anymore now. They said that for last more than two months they were on peaceful protest under humid and hot climatic conditions due to which heath of number of employees are deteriorating day by day but unfortunately government is yet not very serious in dealing their issues. Further, they stated that number of employees has been compelled by their respective heads to resume their duties despite being well aware of the prevailing circumstances. They warned against any kind of pressure tactics against employees presently seeking justice to their demands in Jammu.
