BJP leadership shamelessly indulges into deceitful tacticts to befool people Declaring Oct 26 as state holiday 10/12/2016 11:36:36 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 12: To befool nationalist people of the State, BJP today claimed that it would going to organise "Accession Day" in the big way on October 26 but the party leadership is mum on the demand of announcing State holiday on same day. Accession Day is very important for the nationalist people of the State because on the same day, Maharaja Hari Singh had signed Instrument of Accession with Union India. On October 26, J&K had become integral part of Indian Union. After BJP came to power in J&K this time, nationalist people were hoping that October 26 would be declared as state holiday but the power hungry BJP ministers have failed to take stand on this issue. People are asking if July 13 can be declared as State holiday why not October 26. After facing pressure from the nationalist people of the State, the over-clever BJP leadership is shamelessly indulged into deceitful tactics. Instead of clearing its stand on the demand of declaring October 26 as state holiday, BJP leadership is trying to divert attention of the people. Party announced to celeberate this day in the "big way" but trying to avoid the issue of declaring this day as state holiday only to enjoy power in the State. According to a handout issued here today by the party, "to discuss and chalk out the forthcoming major programmes to be organized from October 24 to November 03, the BJP held a meeting of District and Morcha Presidents and their Prabharis. It was addressed by Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria". Jugal Kishore Sharma, while speaking to media persons about the meeting, said that State BJP will celebrate 'Accession "Day' on October 26 in a big way across the state. He said that some misunderstanding is being created among the people about the accession of the State with the Indian Union but the BJP is clear that it was complete and final, there cannot be any doubt on it.
