| Bunjwah people aghast over PDD apathy | | |

Bunjwah, Oct 12: Expressing serious concern over non-availability of basic facilities in village Mori of panchyat Mori in Tehsil Bunjwah , the Bunjwah rsidents told early times that they were living like the early man.
The residents ridiculed claims of laying new wires and poles. "Nothing has changed on the ground," they said.
They said the village Mori had a similar story to tell. The residents said nobody from the PDD came to replace /repair the damaged transformer till date.
The concerned Foreman, Sudershan Sharm said the locals had failed to bring the transformer to the roadside.
Another local resident said that concerned department had hiked their monthly tariff to 325. They have also forcing the residents to bring the damaged transformer to the road side," he said.
They said the PDD sends monthly bills and also recovers the payment. "The PDD is under an obligation to replace the transformer," they said.
Reliable source informed that PDD is charging Rs 97 from the favourites and Rs 325 from the gullible.
Local residents have sought personal intervention of DC Kishtwar Ghulam Nabi Balwan. |
