Police arrest bovine smuggler, rescue14 animals 10/12/2016 11:41:10 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Oct 12: As a part of drive against menace of bovine smuggling, Rajouri Police led by SHO P/S Rajouri Inspr. Chaman Gorkha under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs. Rajouri Hamid Choudhary during the intervening night of 11/12-10-2016 on a specific information laid nakas/checking at Darhali Bridge. During naka checking Police seized 1 TATA Mobile bearing registration No.JK11B-3316 and rescued 4 bovine animals which were on its way from Rajouri to Srinagar via Thanamandi-Mughal Road without any permission and arrested 01 bovine smuggler namely Ghulam Mustafa S/O Ghulam Nabi R/O Thanamandi. In this connection, Case FIR Nos.645/2016, 188 RPC, 3 PCA has been registered at P/S Rajouri and investigation going on. Similarly SHO PS Manjakote Inspr Mohd Younis under the supervision of SDPO Manjakote Zakir Shaheen Mirza today on a specific information laid a naka/checking at Manjakote. During naka checking police seized a Tata Mobile bearing registration No.JK03E-4887 and rescued 10 bovine animals. Police seized a vehicle, while bovine smugglers fled away from the spot. In this connection Case FIR No. 90/2016 U/S 188 RPC 3 PCA has been registered at PS Manjakote and investigation is going on. Rajouri Police has intensified drive against bovine smuggling & during the year 2016, 184 cases of bovine smuggling have been registered against 200 persons, 1032 bovine animals rescued and 121 vehicles have been seized.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
