RDD buildings left unused, turn shelter shed and dumping store of nut trader | | | Early Times Report Banihal, Oct 23 : The public money through government exchequer is wasted on the ground on the construction of different kinds of needless buildings and the higher authorities of these concerned departments may not be aware about the wastage of this public money. One of the related example is the Rural development department (RDD) Banihal has constructed a building in Tulbag area of Banihal which is useless and is still not is in use. Sources said that the department has constructed three room single storey building with a kitchen and bathroom on the name of guest house some three years back and it is still not used by the department for any purposes. The building is now in a sorry conditions and it is now for the rest house of the nomads who migrate seasonally and take a rest in this building while passing from there. The said department has also construct on more building near this building which is also still unused. The paint and tiles of the old constructed building are in depraved conditions. Presently a local nut business man has kept his some nut bags in the veranda of old building and some in newly constructed building. Locals while talking to Early Times said that this is the loss of public exchequer and the construction of these two unused buildings are beyond the thinking. They alleged that the said department has constructed these buildings for earning the amount only and they are still unused. |
