Rs 11000 released from the violators | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar Oct 28: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ghulam Nabi Balwan, the team of officials of District Administration Kishtwar comprised of Assistance Director CAPD Kishtwar Semma Parihar, Tehsildar Kishtwar Irshad Ahmed Butt, Executive Officer Municipal Committee Kishtwar Kuldeep Sharma, SHO Police Station Kishtwar Sameer Jeelani and others today conducted surprise market checking in different parts of Kishtwar town ahead of upcoming Dipawali festival and its adjoining areas and released an amount of Rs. 11000 from the violators. The team checked the rate list of the shopkeepers and destroyed rotten fruits and vegetables on spot. The officials directed the shopkeepers to sell the goods as per the rate list and issued warning to those shopkeepers who are selling goods at exorbitant rates. The team also directed the shopkeepers and Rehriwallas not to encroach the roads and footpaths as a result of which the daily commuter faces lot of problems beside causes massive traffic jams in the city areas. The market checking squad also visited the sweet shops and checked the quality of sweets and cleanliness around the shops and its vicinity. |
