30 gamblers held with stake money 10/28/2016 11:41:59 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 28: Continuing its drive against the gamblers ahead of Diwali, Talab Tillo police today claimed to have arrested around 30 gamblers from a locality falling under its jurisdiction besides recovering Rs 39000/- as stake money. "On specific information that some people are indulged in gambling, a police team from Talab Tillo Police station conducted the a ritual a raid was conducted at gambling den in Talab Tillo and arrested thirty persons red handed while gambling," Police sources said here today. "Playing cards along with stake money amounting to Rs 39000/- were recovered from their possession and all the gamblers were arrested on the spot", said a police source, further adding that gamblers were booked under 13 Gambling Act.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
