Jammu, Feb 17: To promote the traditional culture of J&K , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 196th Saturday series musical play "Ekta Ekta Ka Diya" in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production at Govt. Middle School, Manthal, Zone Tikri, Udhumpur, J&K. The programe was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Sangam Sharma, Headmaster, Govt. Middle School, Mantal & other prominent persons were present Meena Kumari, Anuradha, Rita Sharma, Bhinay Sharma, Kanchan Kumari, Lekh Raj, Senior Teachers of host school with Anganwadi staff, teachers & workers, children and general public was also witness the programe which highly appreciated by the audience. Earlier during First week of Feb 2018, BLSKS mounted one week special campaign on "National Integration & Communal Harmony" in special coordination with Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting GOI and Education Deptt. of J&K in indentified Block Tikri of District Udhumpur & Block Kot Bhalwal Distt. Jammu & presented 14 progames. Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Lauding the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan and underlined the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state to generate awareness among the masses about various social evils through theatre/drama which are still very powerful medium of communication. |
