Gruesome Kathua incident: PDP trying to create communal divide in Jammu also
2/17/2018 11:22:43 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 17: Succumbing before pressure of separatists and other radical groups of Kashmir Valley, PDP leadership is all out to play communal card in Jammu region to divide peaceful society.
Instead of waiting for the outcome of the ongoing investigation of gruesome murder and rape case of teenager girl, PDP leadership is trying to fish into the troubled water to play communal card.
People of Hiranagar and adjoining localities have demanded CBI inquiry into the gruesome incidents because they alleged that police have been working under political pressure. Instead of supporting the demand of CBI inquiry, PDP leadership has lambasted people of Kathua for organizing pro-criminal rally at Kathua.
Senior PDP leader and vice chairman of Muslim Wakf Board today issued a press note in which he condemned people of Kathua for holding 'pro-criminal rally, despite the fact that crime against arrested persons has yet to be proved. Similarly people of Kathua were not supporting accused but they were demanding that case should be handed over to CBI.
The way separatist groups and radical outfits are exploiting this inhuman incident, people of Kathua raised apprehension that State Government would work under pressure of these elements so they demanded CBI inquiry.
Instead of clearing apprehensions of the people of Kathua and giving them assurance of free and fair investigation, PDP leadership is rather indirectly threatening to the people against raising any demand in this case.
