Nav Adarsh celebrates Annual felicitation ceremony

Jammu, Feb 17: Nav Adarsh Higher Secondary School bubbled up with activities when it celebrated its annual felicitation ceremony and cultural programmes functions in the school multipurpose hall on Saturday. Retd. S.P Sardar Khan, President School Management Committee was the Chief Guest on this occasion while Director Gandharb Singh Katal presided over the function. The function commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, which was followed by Saraswati Vandana.
The welcome address and Annual Report highlighted the achievements of the school in the current academic session. Primary Students showcased their talent by performing on the various themes. Students exhibited their hidden talent and emotions through dances. The laudable contemporary dance was dedicated to the women empowerment. Bhangra showcasing the flavour of Punjab was a thrilling visual treat. A play on the theme Road Safety gave the message of the Do's & Don'ts of Driving. It was followed by much awaited prize distribution ceremony wherein the worthy chief guest bestowed the prizes to the most deserving students and motivated all to keep working hard with sincere endeavors.
The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Gandharb Singh Katal. He congratulated the students and faculty members on the successful culmination of the function and also thanked the dignitaries for sparing their valuable time. He also ensured that the school management will keep on working with this committed attitude for the alround development of the students.
