Mount Litera Zee School conducts inter house science quiz competition

Samba, Feb 17: In order to generate interest and have a good hold over the subject as well as to augment the confidence of the students, Mount Litera Zee School, Tarore Bridge, Jammu-Samba Highway, organised an Inter House Science/EVS Quiz competition. The quiz competition was conducted under the guidance of Gayika Kapoor (coordinator) and among four houses i.e Albert Einstein, Christopher Columbus, Leonardo-Da-Vinci and Mahatma Gandhi House for the three categories of classes.
In the first category of 1st and 2nd class, first place was taken by Mahatma Gandhi House followed by Leonardo-Da-Vinci House at second place and Albert Einstein House at third place respectively.
In the second category of 3rd and 4th class, first place was bagged by Christopher Columbus House, second place was taken by Leonardo-Da-Vinci House followed by Mahatma Gandhi House at third place.
In the third category of 5th , 6th and 7th class, first place was occupied by Leonardo-Da-Vinci House followed by Albert Einstein House at second place and Mahatma Gandhi House at third place respectively.
On the basis of overall evaluation, the first prize was taken by Leonardo-Da-Vinci House followed by Mahatma Gandhi House at second place and Christopher Columbus House at third place respectively.
Dr. A.K. Kapoor (Chairman) congratulated the winners and participants for achieving another landmark in the field of academics. He also appreciated the school staff for the sincere efforts towards the overall build out of the students.
Sundeep Arora (Principal) stated that conducting such type of quizzes will motivate students to improve their knowledge of science and help them develop the skills for finding the answers they might not know.
