Randhawa dedicates lane, drain to public
2/17/2018 10:27:04 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 17: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today dedicated the newly constructed lane and drain at Jalalabad near Sunjuwan in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment to the public.
On his arrival at Lane No-10 Jalalabad in Sunjuwan the locals who had gathered there in large number accorded a grand welcome to the MLC.
While inaugurating the newly constructed lane and drain Randhawa said that it was the long pending demand of the residents of the locality who had approached him for the construction of the lane and drain as none of the legislator ever had paid any heed to this demand.
Randhawa said that he had then assured the people to bring development at their doorsteps and directed the authorities to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the work to be executed. "After the preparation of the DPR I released Rs 5 lakh for the construction of the lane and drain" Randhawa added.
MLC expressed his pleasure while dedicating this newly constructed lane and drain as he has kept his promise. He said that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is committed to bring all round development in the Gandhi Nagar area and carry forward the slogan of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi 'Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas'. He urged upon the public to come forward and avail the benefits of various developmental and welfare schemes being launched by the State as well as the Central government.
The locals present on the occasion appreciated the response of the MLC and assured him full support to the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in the coming future.
