Coalition Government not serious about return of KPs: JTC | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 17: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front J&K was held here today at Jagti Nagrota under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita. During the course of meeting various issues relating to Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community were discussed in detail. While speaking to the participants Shadi Lal Pandita said that the present Government of PDP and BJP is not serious about return and rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community in Kashmir valley as no efforts have been made till date for identifying land for bring up satellite township rehabilitation of the community in the Kashmir valley. Pandita said that though employment package of 6000 posts was announced by the Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh during his visit of Jammu but it is unfortunate that till date despite of lapse of more than 9 years the requisite number of posts has not been filled and still about 3000 posts are not to be filled. One time compensation has been sought for the migrants having suffered huge loss of their properties during past 29 years of migration due to damages to their properties in Kashmir valley. |
