Four injured in road mishap

Rajouri, Feb 17: Four persons including the owner of the car were injured in a road mishap about 2 kilometre ahead of Rajouri town in the evening today.
Police said owner of the car Mushtaq Ahmed r/o Fatehpur was on way to Rajouri town from Palma, According to initial details the owner recently had purchased Swift Desire car and had gone to Palma village and was not fully trained in the driving.
"When he reached near a mosque at Nagrota, a student of a Madarsa had a narrow escape as almost hit the boy. From there he gave lift to a Moulvi and after covering a distance of about 1 kilometre Mushtaq hit a Scorpio vehicle first and in an attempt to save his car he turned it ti right side and the car fell in the field.
People from nearby houses / shops rushed to accident site and rescued the four injured to district hospital and also informed the police.
Police have registered a case of negligence driving against the owner of the car and started investigation including verification of his driving licence and other relevant documents.
"Police have booked the owner under sections 279/ 337 RPC and started investigation" said Tahir Khan , SHO
The injured have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed r/o Fatehpur, 10 years old Muzafar Hussain r/o Swari, Mohd Shakeel r/o Fatehpur and Moulvi Mohd Qasid r/o Malda in West Begal.
