GCE holds workshop on collective art

Jammu, Feb 17: A one day workshop was conducted by Govt College of Education (GCE), Canal Road, Constituent College of Cluster University, Jammu on Collective Art.
The students of M.Ed. fourth semester participated in the workshop. All the students displayed their art in the form of charts, poster making, flashcards, greeting cards, decorative pieces, recycled stuff like making envelopes from the used material, sketching and likewise.
Dr. Neelam Dhar, Ravinder Kour and Ana Bali conducted the workshop based on multiple themes including contemporary issues.
The students showed their creativity by making their art work on the themes like stop corruption, save water, save trees, free women from the cage of restrictions, beauty of nature, etc.
On the occasion, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Lone, Dean in Education, Cluster University, Jammu, Dr. Raj Singh Narania, Coordinator Integrated M.Ed. and Dr. Anju Bala, Acting Principal acted as the judges who evaluated the works of the students. Faculty of the college including B.Ed. and M.Ed. were also present
The work of all the students was appreciated by all the dignitaries. In the end students were awarded with token of appreciation and Renu was awarded with first, Pallavi second and Rishika third positions respectively.
