Barnoti, Feb 17: Kartar Public School (KPS) Barnoti, held a special assembly session today to spread the message of a society free from drugs and addictions.
On this occasion, the resource person (anti-drug addiction cell) Batnam Singh of SGPC, Amritsar addressed the students of the school. He advised the students to keep away from all kinds of addictions. Centuries earlier, the Sikh Gurus, Guru Nanak Dev and Guru Gobind Singh have warned us against all kinds of intoxicants and drugs. There are commercial and antisocial elements that make money by selling such poisons. Awareness leads to prevention. The Chairman of the School, Er Nirmaljit Singh, thanked the resource person for the relevance of the message and hoped that the students would keep away from addictions. |
