Jammu, Feb 22: J&K GRAMEEN Bank organized D-FLAP(GOING DIGITAL) at village Makwal (unbanked area) Tehsil-Phallian Mandal District-Jammu under branch office Phallian. Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department under the chairmanship of Sh. R.K Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organized Digital-Financial Literacy Awareness Programmes at village Makwal (unbanked area) Tehsil-Phallian Mandal District-Jammu under Branch Office Phallian. K.L. Sharma, Regional Manager Regional office Jammu, J&K Grameen Bank was the chief guest on the occasion, aware people about developments in banking sector and latest schemes. Vipan Gupta, Sr. Manager MFFI Department, J&K Grameen Bank, highlighted that the programme intends to impact the gathering regarding digitisation by educating the people about the benefits of digital banking and a cash less economy. He highlighted that with our thrust on enabling an impactful mind set changes towards Cash to cashless economy. He enlightened people and students about new technologies available in the bank such as multiple uses of Bank cheques, Use of POS Machine, RuPay Debit card, KCC RuPay Debit Card, Net Banking, Mobile Banking Services, IMPS, Adhaar based transactions etc. Representatives of Line Departments like KVIB, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Education and NRLM also attended the programme. At least 200 women were present, besides the huge gathering Sarpanch Gulzar Singh, Panchs and other dignitaries of the villages were also present during the occasion. |
