Cultural literary events YUVTARANG 2018 commences

Jammu, Feb 22: The Cultural and Literary Events of YUVTARANG 2018 started with a full swing in all the five constituent colleges of Cluj and were witnessed by a number of students and Faculty Members of the respective colleges.
Under Saahityam (Literati) at GGM Science College, in ESSAY WRITING, Khuram Alishah from GGM Science College, Shivalika Sharma from GCOE and Iqjyot from GGM Science College got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively followed by SHORT STORY WRITING COMPETITION in which Rishabh Bali of GGM Science College, Kritika Sambyal from Govt. MAM College and Garima from GCW Gandhi Nagar were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The events were judged by Prof. Shalini Sharma and Prof. Raj.
On 21st February, 2018, GGM Science College Jammu hosted Elocution, Poetry Recitation & Debate, Government College of Education Jammu hosted Clay Modeling, Photography & Flower Arrangement, Government College of Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu hosted Mime, Mono Acting & Mimicry and Government MAM College Jammu hosted Light Vocal-Solo, Classical Vocol-Solo & Semi Classical Vocal-Solo.
In Elocution Anchal Bharti of GGM Science College, Mohsina Aslam of GCW Gandhi Nagar bagged 1st and 2nd respectively. In Poetry Recitation, Varsha Rajput of GCOE, Muskan Sawhney of GGM Science College got the 1st and 2nd Prizes. In DEBATE, Kaniz Fatima and Jagmeet Kour of GCW Gandhi Nagar and Sheriya Sareen of GCOE stood first, second and third respectively.
The event was judged by Prof. Vijay Kotwal (Former Principal) and Prof. A. Wani (Former Professor, JU).
