Jammu, Feb 22: Sukhnandan Choudhary (MLA, Marh) explainsed the importance of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) at 'Kaushal Mela', organized by Bal Deeksha Institute. Bal Deeksha Institute under the aegis of Evergreen Computer Institute conducted "Kaushal Mela" at Bal Deeksha Institute PMKVY skill Centre, here, today. As part of mass mobilization for PMKVY Skill Development Programs launched by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Kaushal Mela was conducted for the awareness of the student and public at large. Sukhnandan Choudhary (MLA, Marh) was the chief guest. Over 200 hundred and mostly women candidates participated in the Kaushal Mela. Speaking on the occasion, MLA lauded the vision of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in ensuring Skill Development of Indian youth with a special focus on candidates belonging to the underprivileged section of the society. He noted that women candidates coming out in such large number in today's Kaushal Mela is an indication of changing social norms. MLA while interacting with the participants advised them to learn new skills. "India needs you and your skills. You are the power that will make India strong, you are the people for whom our Prime Minister dreams big," MLA added. MLA in his address said," Government wanted to awaken the power of youth and is spending liberally in this direction.
