| Sasan visits border areas, distributes blankets | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 22: S. Gurdeep Singh Sasan, Vice President J&K National Conference, Jammu province today conducted extensive tour of R.S.Pura, Border Belt and held series of meetings at different places including Abdullian, Rangpur, Suchetgarh, Bega, Serian and listened to the problems being faced by Border dwellers.
Addressing different meetings Sasan castigated the BJP-PDP Coalition Govt. for its total failure to come to the rescue to the Border displaced persons, he said that the people are living under very stress situation and are hesitant to return to their respective villages and are deprived of basic amenities and facilities. Sasan further said that the uprooted peoples are living under pitiable conditions. Govt. seems to be under deep slumber. Sasan flayed the Govt. for its failure to provide compensation to the formers who are totally under depression for losing their crop during Pakistan firing and also who were having sufficient stock of food grains could not protect during the firing and that has become rotten stocks. Sasan urged the Govt. to awake up and full fill the promises it committed with the people. While taking a dig at so called paragon of progressive politics Sasan said that their retrogressive polices have completely paralyzed the state machinery for which the general masses are suffering. |
