JTC criticizes state Govt for ignoring KPs

Jammu, Feb 22: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita.
During the course of meeting the participants have expressed their grave concern over the adding of sufferings of the general masses due to slackness of the present coalition government of PDP and BJP in the state which has given rise to the rates of all essential commodities including medicines required by the patients. While speaking to the participants Shadi Lal Pandita has said that majority of the masses have developed the ailments of diabetes, blood pressure, and other life consuming diseases and the most of the people who have meagre source of income are unable to purchase medicines for their treatment due to escalated prices medicines for their treatment due to escalated prices of all essential medicines on one hand and on the other hand duplicate medicines are being sold in the market without any check from the Departmental authorities this has further aggravated the problems of the masses. Pandita has further said that prices of essential commodities too have gone sky up which has further added to the sufferings of the general masses on one hand and on the other hand the essential commodities are adultered which has further deteriorated the health conditions of the masses and the Government is mere spectator without any check on adulteration and price rises.
