Bishnah, Feb 27: A meeting of block Congress Committee Bishnah was held at party office Kanhal Bishnah, under the chairmanship of Shashi Sharma Secretary Pradesh Congress Committee J&K and District Working President Jammu rural.
The meeting was attended by all the office bearers of Block Committee, OBC cell, Kissan Cell and Ex Serviceman cell Bishnah. The workers apprised the Congress leader regarding the worst ever condition of lain drains in the villages Bhatyari, Sultanpur, Chak Murar, Ratnal, Shahpur Brahmana and Kothey Kajain.
The worst condition of roads from Bishnah to Mangal via Khairi, Bishnah-Kunjwani Road, Black topping of link road from convent school to Sahib Bandagi Asharam and Non completion of approaches on Rehal and Sehora bridge despite repeated requests by the locals these works have not been started so far.
Shashi Sharma in his speech urged the authorities concerned to immediately complete these works of roads and bridges so as to give relief to the people of this neglected constituency and also asked the government to start the works of desilting of canals of Bishnah and Pandori Sub divisions so as to reach the irrigation water upto tail-ends. |
