| Investor friendly policies encouraging women entrepreneurs in J&K: Puneet | | 'CWEs a milestone' | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 27: Laying special focus on creating entrepreneurial opportunities for women so that job opportunities for trained human resource are created, the state government kept its word and finally established two Centers for Women Entrepreneurship (CWE) for Jammu and Srinagar. Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti formally dedicated these two Centers to the women entrepreneurs where they can seek information about business-related schemes, incentives and other benefits before their own Ventures.
This was stated by People's Democratic Party (PDP) Leader Puneet Singh Jamwal here today. In a meeting held at Jammu West which attended by young party workers, the PDP leader said these centers will facilitate 'Ease of Doing Business' and give new direction in making J&K an investor-friendly destination. These centers will also help budding women entrepreneurs as new Industrial Policy also has single window clearance mechanism.
Puneet Singh Jamwal said state government had massive plans for youth and these centers area one amongst such that will help women entrepreneurs to set up their units without any hassle.
Urging youth to take benefit of centers, the PDP leader said the government intends to create a right kind business atmosphere in the state where young entrepreneurs do not feel hesitant to start their businesses. Due to the strenuous efforts of the Chief Minister, the percentage of women entrepreneurs in Jammu and Kashmir has already gone up from 16% to 23% which speaks of investor friendly policies of state government. |
