Rajouri, Feb 27: Several prominent political activists joined National Conference in presence of its President Dr Farooq Abdullah and pledged to carry forward the mission of the party in serving the people and strengthening amity and brotherhood. Prominent among those who joined at a function held here included Mohd Rafiq ( Retd Tehsildar) ,Mohd Hussain ( Ex Sarpanch ) ,Tehseem Ishtyaq ( Advocate ) ,(Hav) Waseem Khalik ,Ghulam Nabi ,Abdul Rashid ,Mohd Saleem ,Mohd Sultan ,Mohd Hussain ,Abdul Gani ,Abdul Majeed ,Mohd Rasheed ,Hav. Mohd Akram and Arshad Hussain. Welcoming the new entrants, senior party leaders hoped that their joining will further strengthen the National Conference, which they described as a mass movement, at grass roots level, enabling it to meet the challenges confronted to the State. |
