| Mustafa Nagar residents without water | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, Feb 27: The residents of Mustafnagar in Mendhar are without water as the pumping station of the area is lying defunct since last one week.
The villagers alleged that motor of Mustafnagar PHE Pumping Station went out of order a week back, hampering water supply to several adjoining villages and hamlets has been affected.
The matter was brought to the notice of PHE staff at Mendhar Sub Division, but they claimed that fault is pertained to PHE Mechanical wing Poonch. The villagers urged upon the higher authorities at Poonch to ensure water supply to the area.
Meanwhile, the water supply Harni in Mohalla Kote, Ferozalan Harni village which is affected for the last about four weeks has also not been restored of water supply in the area. The villagers have urged upon the Deputy Commissioner Poonch to come to the rescue of helpless public. |
