| Welcoming step of Government; it's victory of students' movement: ABVP | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 27: State Secretary ABVP J&K Deepak Gupta, said that the step taken by the government to give a GCET to Jammu and give another engineering college to Jammu University as UIET is really a welcoming step by the government.
He said that the students who keep the ambition to become an engineer have welcomed this move of the government.
In a joint statement issued by Piyush Khajuria, Liza Dogra and Taksh Jandyal said that the win of UIET agitation would not have been possible without the unbiased support of media who supported this movement leaving apart every political pressure which usually arises during these types of agitation.
They also hailed all those organisation, unions and parties who excelled their unconditional support to this agitation. Without the unconditional support this could not have been possible.
While stating the movement throughout the state, Deepak mentioned that the state led movement made a deep impact on the government, the movement was coordinated in different districts coordinated by ABVP J&K which led to more than 50000 students joining the movement and support of 22 different organisations throughout the state. |
