JAMMU, Feb 27: Panjthirthi police today claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 80 intoxicating injections from his possession.
Police spokesman said that today during nakka checking, police team of police post Panjtirthi intercepted one scooty bearing registration number JKO2BL-5403 at nakka point.
"On questioning scooty rider disclosed his name as Surinder Singh of Subash Nagar Jammu and during search 80 intoxicating injections I.e. 28 injections of Rexogesic, 26 injections of phenergan, 26 injections of Diazelab recovered from his possession", said police spokesman adding that in this connection a case under FIR no.30/2018 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at police station Pacca Danga.
The above said accused arrested by police team headed by in-charge police post Panjtirthi, SI Ajay Kumar Engotra under the guidance of SHO Pacca Danga, SI Dheeraj Nagpal and SDPO City North, Varun Jandial under the supervision of SP City North, Jammu, Vinod Kumar. |
