JAMMU, Mar 26: A guest lecture titled "Unbundling Leadership Potential" was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Police at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground here today.
The Guest Speaker was Prof. Ramnath Narayanswamy, Professor Economics & Social Sciences, IIM Bangaluru.
Prof. Ramnath Narayanswamy in his lecture stressed upon discovering one's Vision & Values which he said lead towards the purpose of life. It is not important to focus on what other people are doing but it is important to focus on what we are doing, he added. He also quoted various personalities including Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi and Steve Jobs for achieving greater success despite facing failure, on occasions. Giving various examples of his vast experience Prof. Ramnath had a lively interaction with the Students and participants.
The lecture was attended by Dr. Ashok Bhan, IPS, DGP (Retd.), S.J.M Geelani, IPS, Director Vigilance, Mohammad Sulaiman Salaria, IPS, Director SKPA Udhampur, J.P Singh, IPS, IGP (Pers.) PHQ, Surinder Kumar, IPS, Director SSG, Alok Kumar, IPS, IGP Security, J&K, Anand Jain, IPS, IGP (Hqrs.) PHQ, a galaxy of Police Officers, 30 KAS probationers from J&K IMPA with Faculty, Faculty/Students from Business School, Jammu University and Central University Jammu. |
